How to get clearer skin at home.

If you are struggling with blemishes or acne, there are measures you could be taking to clear up your skin right from your home! We want to make sure that our clients and readers have the best info, so that they can feel great in your own skin!

There are so many DIY skin remedies out there, but we want to share a face mask recipe that we have tried personally, this means we know it works (PS: it really does). The turmeric face mask is a miracle worker, and we want to share it with you. Turmeric is a spice that has been used for centuries, and for good reason. It has skin lightening properties and will give your face a glow like none other. This mask should be done twice and week and no more than that. Here is what you’ll need:

Organic Turmeric – 1/2 tbsp  

Plain Non-Fat Yogurt – 1 tbsp 

Rice Flour – 1tbsp 

Organic Honey – 1/1 tbsp 

Mix all of these ingredients together in a small bowl. The mask should be a paste. Use a brush of some sort (don’t use your fingers) and apply it to your face. Be very careful not to get the mask on the counter tops because it can stain. Leave the mask on for about 10 minutes and rinse with a warm towel. We recommend that you apply the mask right before you take a shower in the evening, that way you can rise it off in the shower and avoid a mess.

This mask is great for acne scars and clearing skin up! If your face is a bit yellow after removing the mask, use a makeup remover wipe and that should get rid of the yellow tint.
